This project included choosing materials for Haven Spa & Wellness Center, in the Redwood Forest. The concept centers around Biophilic design principals to create a holistic retreat. My goals followed these ideas:
• Our bodies crave nature and creativity
• Bringing the natural environment inside, as part of the overall design approach
• Incorporating creativity and nature into every space
• Returning to our roots and nature, in a luxury-filled environment
• Natural environment being the key element, inside and outside
• Creating a luxurious, holistic wellness retreat filled with nature and creativity,
to create an atmosphere to renew and unplug
