In this studio project, we focused on the redesign of the Interior Design building, on the Bellevue College Campus. There is an existing atrium ceiling on the second floor of the building, so my vision is to open up the first-floor ceiling and create an Atrium, bringing in the natural light. Using Biophilic design principles, there is a sunken garden as part of the main seating area and use of greenery, natural materials and natural light throughout the spaces. I wanted to create creative spaces that encouraged gathering and creativity.
